Nicole Maragna is a partner in Bianchi Presta LLP’s Construction Law and Litigation Practice Groups. She was called to the Bar as a member of the Law Society of Ontario in 2015. Based in Vaughan, she acts for clients throughout York Region and the Greater Toronto Area.

Nicole regularly represents clients in the construction pyramid, including owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors and consultants. She acts for clients in a range of construction disputes, including lien and trust claims, bond actions, debt recovery, delay and claims arising from construction deficiencies and warranty issues.

Nicole also advises clients proactively on construction contracts, and assists with contract review, negotiation and risk allocation before disputes arise, applying a litigation lens to strengthen clarity, close interpretive gaps and reduce the likelihood of escalation. Where issues begin to surface, she supports early resolution through structured pre litigation negotiation, without compromising evidentiary strength or litigation readiness if proceedings become necessary.

In addition to construction matters, Nicole represents clients in complex civil and commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, debt claims and other business disputes where the core issue is liability, enforceability or collection. Nicole advises at every stage of a dispute from pre litigation through to trial and appeal. Clients value her for providing clear, practical advice that is direct, commercially grounded and focused on proportionality.

Nicole has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court, and various tribunals and commissions.

Outside of the office, Nicole balances an active lifestyle with meaningful time spent with her family.
